The stay was nice and peaceful, with a spacious room that had a great view. The coffee machine in the room was a lovely touch to kick off the mornings, and I appreciated the grab-and-go breakfast, which included snacks that were perfect for fueling my day. Checking in via key safe was straightforward, and overall this place provided a really good experience for my visit to see family nearby.

Unfortunately, the shower in my room had very weak water pressure, diminishing the overall comfort of my stay.

What a gem this place is! I went on a culinary quest and explored nearby eateries like Cafe Aroma with its cozy vibes, and the robust flavors at Joe's, you can’t go wrong! The grab-and-go breakfast with snacks was a real lifesaver for my adventures. Plus, the King Room Mountain View offered a super comfy bed and a delightful hot shower to unwind. Talk about winners all around!
While it was mostly smooth sailing, I did encounter an odd hiccup with the heating – the first night was toasty, but then it went chilly on me, and despite reaching out, I didn’t see anyone come by to fix it. Mozzy check-in was fine, but the self-service can feel a tad impersonal for some folks. Still, I’d reckon they’ll sort that out in time!

Kingussie getaway 🌄
Hosts were so lekker, gave me a heads up on local stuff for my little one. The brekkie was a nice all-day affair with pastries and a cuppa on tap. The room was super clean, and all the extras like jellies and water were a cool surprise!
Only thing was the shower, had a bit of a weak trickle, but not a major skinner.

Charming country feel filled with historical character.
Unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by a lack of support from staff during my stay. I struggled to find my way around the property since I didn't see any staff available for assistance. The absence of hot water in my room left me feeling uncomfortable and neglected, as I had to request help multiple times with no timely resolution.

picturesque location, charming atmosphere, effective heating
No TV remote in room!!! Limited parking without marked bays!!! Forcing guests to iron out in the hallway felt tacky!!! The key drop-off awkwardness with everyone’s keys in view is concerning!!!

We stayed in a lovely four-poster room, but the breakfast was a letdown—my smoked haddock was rubbery. The staff were super friendly, though!

Great value and comfy stay!
I had a lovely stay here, with the room being clean and comfortable. The grab and go breakfast featuring pastries and cereals was a nice touch, which helped fuel my adventures. The decor felt a bit dated and could use a refresh, but it didn't ruin the overall experience.

I stayed in the Standard Twin Room for 2 nights, and it was warm and cozy despite the -6°C outside. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the clean sheets. The bathroom had everything I needed, with fresh towels and a radiator that was just right after a shower. I loved having coffee and sweets available in my room. Only downside was no plug by the bed for my phone charger.

We faced some strange moments with the self-check-in process. it felt a bit impersonal at times. Despite that, we had a good experience overall.

I needed a peaceful getaway and found it here. The surroundings provided a perfect escape from daily life. I enjoyed a nice dinner where the service was leisurely, allowing time to chat and enjoy the meal. The breakfast was freshly made to order, although service could improve a bit. Exploring the gardens and seeing rabbits added to the charm of my stay. I definitely plan to return.
